Overview

This walk is a coach trip embarking from Lossie Green Car Park, Elgin @ 08:00.

Pick-up via: Forres.

A moderate 13mi walk on good paths, tracks and minor roads mainly following the Speyside Way.

A shorter 7.5mi walk option is: Kincraig to Inchmarshes.

Insh Marshes are an area of floodplain of the River Spey between Kingussie and Kincraig in Badenoch and Strathspey. The marshes are said to be one of the most important wetlands in Europe. They lie at altitude of approximately 240 to 220m above sea level, and form one of the largest areas of floodplain mire and fen vegetation in Scotland.

If you have any questions, please contact the walk Fiona M (07835 600 035). Please leave a message remembering to leave your name and contact telephone number.
