Overview

Hello Everyone

Barry & Pam (our walk leaders for this Sunday) know Telford like the backs of their hands, so who better to guide us on a nice day out featuring a variety of terrain on recognised routes such as The Ironbridge Way and the Telford T50. Throw in a few other footpaths, quiet lanes, and forest trails and there you have it.  There are just three stiles on this walk.

Why not join us? Why not indeed as you're most welcome! Let us know beforehand though if this is your first time with the group so that we can look out for you. Ta.

Registration: 09.45.  Walk start: 10.00.  Walk leaders: Barry & Pam (07443 910196)

⚠️No facilities at the start or during the walk.

🍺☕Post walk refreshments to be enjoyed somewhere local as we usually do.

See you there on Sunday morning!

Directions. If Thomas Telford had known they'd design and name a large conurbation after him with such a splendid road network he'd have surely built the first satnav wouldn't he?😂😂. If you have such a device please use it! What3words strongly recommended as there are three Station Roads in the area😳. Code in the location details below.

If you are sans-nav then your best bet with the least turns but slightly longer, is to come off the M54 at Junction 6, then as follows:

From Junction 6 take the first exit onto the A5223 and proceed for 1.2 miles to Lawley Common Roundabout where turn left signed for Dawley. Continue for 0.5 mile to Heath Hill Roundabout and turn right at 3 o'clock, i.e, third exit into Springhill Road, direction Madeley and Dawley.

After 350 yards turn left into Station Road, signed 🅿️Dawson's Park. Follow Station Road for 250 yards to turn right in to Dawson's Park car park. Free parking.
