Denbies and Norbury Park (Moderate )

Our starting point is Denbies Vineyard Car Park. Initially the walk takes us along the River Mole with a stunning view of the escarpment below Box Hill and then over fields to a broad track which steadily ascends to Norbury Park House. At the start of the ascent there will be a coffee stop. As we climb up the track there are some splendid views across the Mole Valley. At the top of the climb we shall stop for a picnic lunch at the Saw Mill where there is normally a mobile van selling drinks and snacks.

From there we swing round going through fairly open country on level tracks and paths with fine views of Box Hill, the North Downs and in the distance the South Downs. There is a short fairly steep descent down towards West Humble and then across fields and a short section of woods back to Denbies.
