We are Reigate Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
At Standen House and Estate (National Trust) we will meet for a short stroll through a lovely, quiet wood (with some undulations). Our leader, who volunteers at Standen, will give a 20-minute talk about the house and its Arts and Crafts history and then you can enjoy the house or gardens or have a cup of tea on the lawn or all three. Emphasis on a sociable afternoon. Normal entry fees apply. Access for dogs according to NT guidance on site.
No stiles / pace less than 2mph / Dogs welcome (subject to following the specific instructions of the leader in the course of the walk - see walk description too) / no finishing time given due to the nature of the walk.
