Howard will lead the group via a Mixture of footpaths and quiet lanes. Small number of stiles.
Brief route description: A short section through Belper towards Long Row & Triangle, then to pass the mill and over the bridge to Wyver Lane. Along Wyver Lane, follow the bridle way to Belper Lane End. Then a climb up to Longwalls Lane and through Handley Wood, towards Blackbrook. We will pick up Plains Lane and the riverside footpath return to Belper.
There will be enough time after the walk for people to get lunch before the AGM. The finishing point is in close proximity to the town centre. There are several cafes/pubs close to the finish to eat/purchase lunch.
