We are the Lower Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk from Devauden along country pathways, woodland tracks, pastures/farmland taking in Cobblers Plain, heading towards Trelleck Grange, circling back through Panta farm and returning via Chepstow Park Wood.
Coffee & lunch break (packed lunch required).
Moderate - one steep hill before lunch and a long incline on way back to cars. The fields are wet and muddy so waterproof boots (socks), gaiters and a dirty boot bag!
Stiles - 11 (one problematic - five bar gate by side)
Devauden Village Hall - the lane to the side. From Chepstow head to Devauden and at the Common turn left off the main road and head to the Village Hall.
