Overview

Wednesday 3rd July 2024 10:30 Start

A leisurely flat 6 mile walk, taking in part of Preston Dock (The largest single basin dock in England, formally known as the Albert Edward Dock). Going along the banks of the Ribble into Avenham Park for lunch and toilet stop at the pavilion café. We will then cross to the other bank of the Ribble and make our way back to the docks and then the Bull Nose before making our way to the Boathouse café.

The meeting point is the Boathouse Café next to the swing bridge. Dogs are welcome on the walk but please take note that parts of the walk use the Guild Wheel which is a shared cycle route.
