About the Pub
Formerly called the Woodman. The pub reverted to its original name some time ago - the Rawdon Arms - after the local mine which closed in the 1980s.
The pub has a large L-shaped single room with comfortable seating.
The walls are covered with commemorative plates depicting local coal mines, the last one closing in 1990.
