We will catch the 32 bus (times and details below) to The Wotton Hatch and then walk back to Dorking via Ranmore. From Wotton we head north to cross the railway and then do the ascent to Ranmore, mostly a steady climb with the occasional short steeper or flatter sections. No formal coffee stop planned so perhaps have a snack on the bus! At Ranmore we will have our lunch (with glorious views and maybe a cuppa if the coffee van is there) at the picnic benches. Downhill/flat after lunch all the way into Dorking. Hopefully some less familiar paths on this section. We will show you the bus stops (White Horse) for the return to Reigate/Redhill/Wotton and then you are free to sample the delights of Dorking or head straight home. The 32 bus runs hourly (ish) in each direction, bus passes can be used or, for the "youngsters", the £2 single fare cap still applies. Don't forget your bus pass or cash/contactless card and a picnic lunch.
