Overview

Joining the Jubilee River from the lovely village of Dorney, we will wend our way up to the A4 and then uphill to the village of Taplow.  We will pay a quick visit to the Saxon burial mound then descend to Taplow Riverside via the new bridge and follow the Thames path and local footpaths back to Dorney, skirting Dorney Lake on the way.  This is a flat walk with one hill, in the middle, up to Taplow, (188 ft of ascent).  Because of the absence of hills, I've made it a slightly longer walk than usual (7.75 miles).
