We are the Tendring District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An 11 mile circular walk along the Dragon Trail. Most Tendring Ramblers will have walked this trail but as it is one of the most scenic walks in the area, it is worth another look.
From Lt Horkesley we will walk to Wormingford (coffee stop) and onto Bures stopping for lunch at St Stephens Chapel, the best vantage point to view the dragon on the hill. We will continue past Wissington back to Lt Horkesley.
Park at the the Church of St Peter and St Paul at Lt Horkesley. Parking is limited so car sharing where possible, is essential. Post code CO6 4DB.
Bring a picnic lunch. Wear suitable shoes and clothing to suit the weather conditions.
