Leaving the station we head towards Overtoun House before cutting off and heading east to Greenland Reservoir No3. Continue to Loch Humphrey and then NE to the summit of Duncolm. Leave Duncolm heading south to Greenside Reservoir and then onto the Slacks before the final descent to Old Kilpatrick.

Return to Dumbarton via public transport - bus or train available.

Local Grade: B (but only due to distance)

Terrain: Dirt paths, open moorland and farmland - will be wet underfoot in places.  Gaiters and poles recommended.

Max height: 402 m.
