Walkers must book in advance with the walk leader
From the floor of the Forth valley, at the foot of the Ochils, we climb to an isolated reservoir before continuing to the summit of Dumyat for views of an Iron age fort, the River Forth, Stirling and Alloa.
Follow single-track roads and paths through Hermitage Wood to Cocksburn Reservoir. Then head east on Ochils hill paths to Dumyat summit. Descend to Dumyat Farm and follow Hillfoots Diamond Jubilee Way along the foot of the Ochils to the start at Logie Kirk car park.

Terrain: Rough hill paths with a steep descent from Dumyat. Muddy country paths, forestry tracks and quiet tarmacked lanes. A few steep ascents.
