We are the Leighton Buzzard Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Loop 1: - 9.30 start - 6.5 miles. From the Visitor Centre we take the Chiltern Way south to Whipsnade, continuing south through the churchyard to Holywell, then on to Studham Church for a coffee break, returning via Studham Lane, the Tree Cathedral and Dunstable Downs.
Loop 2: - 13:00 start - 6 miles. From the VC head into woodland alongside Dunstable Golf Course then a semi-circuit of Kensworth Quarry, on to Codlings Bank, Whipsnade Heath and Whipsnade, returning on the Chiltern Way.
Join us for the morning, afternoon or both! These will not be fast-paced walks. For those doing both there will be a lunch break c. 12.30 to 1pm. Refreshments and WCs available at the Visitor Centre until 4pm.
