We walk in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire. You’ll find us walking both midweek and on Sundays.
We have an excellent variety of terrain on our doorstep, which includes the Greensand Ridge, the Chilterns, the Grand Union Canal, river valleys, farmland, urban paths including redways, country parks and wildlife areas. Our walks vary from short walks of 3-6 miles to longer walks in the range of 9 to 13 miles. They are usually circular, though sometimes we do linear walks and most of them are moderately paced; some are more leisurely.
We are a friendly and sociable group, with a programme of social events. Many of our walks have an optional pub stop, usually at the end, where you can relax and get to know other walkers. We also organise walking holiday trips and walk some long distance paths. Once a month we have a mystery walk, so why not give us a try?
