Overview

A lovely shady walk (just in case summer has arrived!). We head off towards Dogmore End, passing the bust of the Roman Emperor Antonius Pius who offers walkers "si vis sede hic sub arboribus". We continue past a lovely lily pond with an interesting Japanese pagoda and a stone horse. After Dogmore End we go around the outskirts of Stoke Row and into Busgrove Wood, heading south towards Wyfold Court. We continue through shady Beech Wood returning via Larchdown Farm to Checkendon. Two stiles. Registered Assistance Dogs only. DW Walk Leader Richard B 07719 692355
