Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
A country park/coastal walk that gets better as the day goes on, heading for lunch at East Dean where there are two cafes and a pub, but please bring a sandwich in case it's busy.
After lunch, there is a brief stop at Birling Gap before returning to Eastbourne via the last two of the Seven Sisters.
There should be time for fish and chips at the end, with a paddle or swim for the more energetic.
It's a good workout with drop out points in the afternoon if necessary.

The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.

Take the 09.46 train from Victoria (Clapham Junction 09:53, East Croydon 10.02) arrives Eastbourne 11.11 and buy a return ticket to Eastbourne.
