We are the Cheshire Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from Wenffrwd Nature Reserve just outside Llangollen, we follow some paths up to the Panorama and ascend onto the ridge with lovely views of Castell Dinas Bran then continue up to Eglwyseg mountain (511m). We then descend via Worlds End and follow part of the Offas Dyke Path with more lovely views. We then descend and pick up part of the Clwydian Way with views of the ruins of the Abbey then circle the bottom of Castell Dinas Bran and back to the nature reserve.
Although this walk is graded moderate, there are some strenuous sections with some steep uphills and some tricky descents which are steep or slippy.
There were some boggy sections at the top of Eglwyseg mountain so decent boots and perhaps gaitors are recommended.
Sorry no dogs are allowed on this walk as there are lots of sheep and lambs and we also passed some cows and horses in fields on the recce.

Wenffrwd nature reserve just off the A539. There is a sign on the road for Bearded Man Adventures. Parking is £4 for all day. Please car share where possible.
