Overview

Walk along  the coast to the hamlet of Shellness, and then southwest to the Harty marshes bird sanctuary. The bird hide there allows views of three waterways so small binoculars could come in handy.  At Sayes Court walk to St Thomas's church and then to the Harty Ferry Inn. We then go north via Mocket Farm to the Sheppey Natural Burial Ground. At Elliotts Farm head north-east to Muswell Manor. At the end of the walk we can stop for refreshments there or at the Cafe Nero for a beer or coffee. T
