From the Tafarn-y-Garreg Pub on the A4067, we will follow the trail following the stream under the cliffs of Fan Brycheiniog. This will lead us up to Llyn Y Fan Fawr reservoir then up a steep staircase to the Fan Brycheiniog stone shelter. Heading across and down to Llyn Y Fan Fach and then back up onto the peaks of Fan Fawr, across Fan Brycheiniog back to the main road with views of Swansea in the distance and big cliff drops.
Good boots and waterproofs needed, bring packed lunch. A mix of grass trails, uphill and downhill sections. A steep grassy section down on the final section back to the cars. Approximately 11 miles.
