Overview

A walk from the Crai Reservoir area over quiet open moorland to Fan Bwlch Chwyth.  Fine views over the Carmarthen Fans and Forest Fawr areas.

We will walk along sections of old tramways and a minor road but the majority of the walk will be on rough tracks with a difficult section of steep, wet tussocks grass to negotiate.

N.B. This can be a bleak area in poor weather so the appropriate equipment, boots and clothing will be needed.

Social after walk:

Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to the Ancient Briton in Pen y Cae.
