Overview

Beginning with a steep strenuous ascent, which we'll take at a gradual pace, the walk levels out with a pleasant ridge walk. We will have the opportunity to visit to the memorial crash site of a Wellington Bomber before continuing around the dramatic escarpments above the valleys to Fan y Big. In clear weather views of the higher summits of Pen y Fan, Corn Du and Crybin to the west are superb and a fabulous back drop for your 'diving board' photo opportunity! The descent from Fan y Big is steep but after that we join an almost flat, stoney route back to the start.
