Overview

Car share from Hinckley at 09:00

The walk will start at 10:00 (if travelling direct then please let me know)

Start/Finish is at the junction of The Slade and Avon Dassett Road, Fenny Compton,
Warwickshire.

There is space for 5/6 cars on the grass verge around the small village green, with additional space just around the corner if required.

From Fenny Compton, our route takes us west to the village of Northend. From here we enter The Avon Dassett Hills Country Park. A short climb is necessary but the views from the hills make the effort worthwhile. Leaving the park behind us we walk to Avon Dassett for our lunchtime pub stop at The Yew Tree Inn, which was one of our favourites from The Centenary Way, earlier this year. After lunch we'll head eastwards to Farnborough before turning north and heading back to our cars.

The walk is approximately 9 miles long (5 before lunch).
