Overview

Circular walk from Besthorpe via the nature reserve, along the Trent to Girton church where there will be a lunch stop (mince pies and mulled wine will be provided).

The return journey will be along the River Fleet.

There will be the usual Coffee stop and lunch stops, so please bring your own provisions.

The walk is flat, with only one small stile.

It is very muddy so boots, sticks, gators and/or waterproofs are recommended.

There is an opportunity for a Christmas drink at the end of the walk at the Lord Nelson pub.
