Overview

This is a change from the previously published walk 'Rolling Down The River'. Same start point as before, but slightly longer and a bit more elevation.
We walk through Hasfield and around Barrow Hill for a coffee stop with fine views. Then onwards to Ashleworth, pausing to survey the magnificent medieval tithe barn, and the church which dates back to the Saxon era. A picnic lunch at Ashleworth Quay and then return through Hasfield passing its church and grade Ⅱ16th century manor house.

This will be a shared walk with Gloucester Ramblers.
