Two hills on this Downland walk. The first is southwards on a gentle climb up East Dean hill, with good views a most of the way round. Backdown to East Dean, then a gentle climb northwards following paths along either side of the valley. Just one short but steepish climb up from Postles Barn to the woods leading to a descent down New Road, and back into East Dean.
Coffee stop only, but for those that feel the need for lunchtime sustenance the Star & Garter pub is handily placed in the centre of East Dean
Either park on the road north of the pub, or if there isnt anything on at the Village Hall, use their car park.
