Join me for a relatively easy walk mainly on footpaths and tracks, but with a longish single track road section out of Biddestone after lunch. not too hilly though some of the field edges may still be close up to corn "as high as an elephant's eye".
The walk is in the area to the south and east of Castle Combe, passing through the lovely old villages of Yatton Keynell, Biddestone and Slaughterford. The morning break for refreshments will be in the churchyard at Yatton Keynell, where there is a general store and coffee shop. Lunch will be by the pub and duck pond in Biddestone, where there are also public toilets. Expect charming houses and some lovely scenery.
