Overview

This is a walk of two halves. The first half is in a pleasant valley, following the Garvald Burn out of Garvald via Medwynbank up towards the West Water Reservoir. The second half heads across to Medwynhead at a higher level across open moorland with great views in all directions. The return leg is from Medwynhead back down to Medwynbank and Garvald.
