Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.
Starting in the forestry car park, this walk takes us through woodland and farmland down to Llanharan before climbing steadily to the ridgeway. We walk along the ridgeway back to the car park.
There are several stiles which dogs need to be lifted over and we pass through a few farms. If you bring your dog, be aware they will need to be on a lead for the vast majority of this walk. The walk offers lovely views weather permitting.
On the A4119 (Ely Valley Road), from Cardiff, head to the Coed Ely roundabout. Stowford Leisure will be straight ahead but rather than going straight on, you take the first exit. Keep going down that road until you see the forestry car park on your right.
