We are the Take a Hike Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Circular 8 mile walk setting off from Hebden Bridge Railway Station.
The walk will end at Hebden Bridge Railway Station.
A walk in a beautiful valley to energise and yet re-charge the batteries at this time of year.
Hebden Bridge is accessible from Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and surrounds by car and train.
The walk includes exposed sections, rough paths and a spectacular wooded valley with stunning views on a clear day. There are some steep road sections and small sections may be muddy.
We will have our packed lunch at Gibson's Mill where toilets are available.
The walk then returns along the valley on tracks to Hebden Bridge Railway Station.
Please note the walk leader plans to arrive by train.
We will finish the walk in stunning Hebden Bridge where there are lots of options for a well deserved sit-down and drink.
VAPING
The walk leader would really appreciate if anyone does vape on a walk that they do so with consideration for others.

Layered clothing suitable for the weather/ sturdy footwear and adequate food /drink and snacks and a torch are things are some of the key things to consider.
