Overview

We will walk north to woods near the airport and pass under the flight path.

Then we descend Goblin Combe through King’s Wood to viewpoints of the Mendips and possibly Quantocks.

This is hill country but without major climbs.
Expect muddy conditions in parts. No main roads to cross.

From the centre of Wrington town go north on Wrington Hill road, (the road whose other end is at Cleeve on the A370). Our parking is in the layby 1.5m north of the centre of Wrington town. The layby is on the right side of the road near a footpath sign and just before a right-angle bend to the left.
