A leisurely round of the Sunningdale golf courses keeping to the public rights of way across them. (There may be a little road walking on the outskirts of Sunningdale.) Of course not all the walk is on the golf courses, and there's some surprisingly scenic heathland. We go via Valley End, Ribs Down, Sunningdale Ladies Golf Club, Sunningdale Golf Club (the old course and the new course), and Brick Hill.
The saying "Golf is a good walk spoiled" is popularly attributed to Mark Twain, but he died in 1910, and the first known use of the expression was in 1948.
