We meet in Crow Spinney Lane, West Perry and walk clockwise around Grafham Water. The walk follows excellent paths and offers views across the reservoir. Built in 1965 the reservoir is colonised by wildlife with a nature reserve created on the western side. In season the water is home to many species of birds. In addition, the reservoir is a centre for sailing, fishing, cycling and walking.
Huntingdon to Perry is 8 miles with a journey time of approximately of 20 minutes.
There will be opportunity to have a comfort stop/lunch break at the visitor centre and cafe.
