We set off across the moors towards Stump Cross before taking a good track down to High Skyreholme and Howgill. We then head towards the River Wharfe where we pick up the Dales Way to take us to Appletreewick and our return along lanes, fields and moorland back to our cars at Grimwith Reservoir.
