Overview

The walk starts at the free Shore Road car park in Lower Gronant and follows the Wales Coast Path to Talacre lighthouse. We go into Talacre where toilet facilities are available and then return to the Coastal Path passing a RSPB hide before heading inland. After crossing the A548 we ascend a short rise to return to Gronant via a caravan park and past Talacre Abbey.

This is a leisurely walk (local grade D+) and is 7.5 miles in length.

Bring a packed lunch.
