We are the Stour Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 9-mile (figure of 8; 5 & 4 miles) circular walk starting at All Saints, the parish church of Gt Ashfield. We walk alongside woodland and fields to the church at Hunston, through the grounds of Langham Hall to the village of Badwell Ash before our return to All Saints Church for lunch. In the afternoon, we walk on a disused airfield through open countryside.
Bring a packed lunch and enough to drink.
The car park is behind the Church. If you approach Gt Ashfield from the A14 and go through Elmswell, the Church will be on the left-hand side. You will need to turn through a ford just before the Church.
