Overview

8 miles, leisurely end of moderate pace. Mainly flat but a climb up to the Trackway on the ridge back into Guildford and a steep descent. 

Route: Guildford - River Wey -Compton - Watts Gallery - Sunnydown - Guildford.

Food:  Picnic at Watts Gallery Cemetery Chapel and/or tea break at the Watts Gallery Tea Room nearby. Possibly tea in Guildford at the end.

Drop-out points: None.

Travel: 10.27 Clapham Junction (Exeter St David's train from platform 9), change at Woking (platform 5) for the 10.55 arriving Guilford 11.02.  Start 11.10. 

CHECK  TRAIN TIMES.

Start: 11.10 from Guildford.

Ticket: £11.65 with Senior Railcard CDR to Guildford.
