Gullane Bay and Hanging Rocks Circular

Walk from Gullane Bents car park along sandy beaches with some rocky stretches and through sand dunes towards the Hanging Rocks Cave. Return via the memorial to a plane crash and Archerfield Estate, using good paths and a section of the John Muir Way (A198). Walking poles advisable for rockier sections. Dog owners might like to be aware that this walk is near to the start of ground nesting in the dunes (from 1st May) and that there are deer in the Archerfield Estate.
