Overview

6 miles at moderate pace.
Route: a popular walk that follows the River Brent then the Grand Union Canal, Brentford, Syon Park, Isleworth waterfront and on to Richmond.
Difficulty: flat throughout but expect some mud along the towpaths especially below bridges.
Lunch: probably at the garden centre in Syon Park, but there are also places to sit outside close by.
Drop-out points: Brentford by bus or train.
