The path then descends towards Netherne and Chaldon, where you can visit the historic Chaldon Church with the earliest known English wall painting. After a pub lunch at Coulsdon Common, the walk continues through the picturesque Happy Valley, with its tranquil atmosphere. Expect some short but steep inclines and descents throughout the journey.
