This is a fell walk in the east of the Lake District National Park (which forms part of Naddle Horseshoe).
Starting from the very small car park on the road, we quickly get onto tracks and begin a long but steady climb reaching the highest point of the walk (419m) before the route levels off. The section allows great views to the east. We then circle around Hugh’s Laithes Pike (sorry bangers, we won’t be going to the top) with great views of Haweswater before dropping quickly. This is followed by our last climb before regaining our original path and returning to the cars.
