We are the Surrey and Beyond Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely walk on the South Downs with some hilly sections, woodland paths, a bit of quiet lane walking and open stretches on the Downs.
We will walk at a moderate to brisk pace. There are hilly stretches and good paths. It may be muddy if it's been raining.
Pub or Picnic lunch. Pub lunch has been booked for 12 people at the Royal Oak in Hooksway. If you would like to book a pub lunch please can you email ClairB@sabre-walkers.org.uk. We will need to pre-order our lunch by 30 May.
Starting point is a National Trust car park and charges now apply - free for NT members or £3 via PayByPhone.
Harting Down National Trust Car Park. If approaching from South Harting, the car park is on the left hand side at the top of the hill on the B2141 after the turning for Hill Lane. Don’t turn left onto Hill Lane.
