The walk of almost 8 miles takes in woods, part of The Outwoods Golf Course, Coventry Canal and Atherstone Locks.

Pub stop at Maid of the Mill who know we are coming. They sell inexpensive Batches [Cobs in Hinckley speak] and on our last visit had an excellent cold
Corned Beef and Potato pie.

They also have 3 Real Ales on offer - Draught Bass, Abbot and Old Speckled Hen.
