We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk starting at the Hassock's Hotel making our way to Pycombe before walking West towards along the SDW to Ditchling Beacon where we will stop for lunch. Then heading down to the village of Ditchling to Oldland Mill and back through Hassocks to the station. Please note there are no toilets on this route. The Ice Cream van may be at Ditchling Common and they do hot drinks.
Catch the 10.09 train from Brighton which arrives at Hassocks for 10.17. The walk starts from the Hotel at the end of the eastern car park, so go under the platform to the other side after getting off the Brighton train!
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. The walk will begin from the eastern car park of Hassocks Railway station by the Hassocks Hotel (pub).
