Circular walk from Haworth, starting from the Bronte Parsonage Museum Car Park at 10.30 - (What3Words https://w3w.co/consoles.along.depth), £4 for the day (up to 6pm), pay by cash or phone (via RingGo App).
We follow a lane, road and then tracks to the Bronte Seat and Bridge. From here, we head steeply uphill to 'Top Withins', a ruined farmhouse reputedly the inspiration for Emily Bronte's 'Wuthering Heights'.
From 'Top Withins', we head downhill towards and, eventually, through the village of Stanbury. We then pass down to the Lower Laithe Reservoir, crossing its dam before heading along a track, rejoining our outward route a short distance from Haworth. We then return to Haworth for an optional quick look round the village and visit to one of the local pubs for refreshments.
A relatively short walk at a little under 7.5 miles. It is, however, hilly with some steep sections and uneven tracks so is classed as 'moderate'.
