Overview

 From Healaugh  green we walk up to Dagger Stones and continue to Cringley Bottom Gill ,short decent to cross foot bridge to climb steps to Novel Houses Hill, taking the path to Surrender Bridge continue past Old Gang smelting mills to Hard Level Force  crossing the bridge to Knots Hill and Hunt pots track we descend from Brunt Hill to Brown Berry pasture  crossing the road to Low Row and on to Kearton and hill top. Continuing to Barney Beck foot bridge continue through wood and walk down past Thiernswood Hall short walk on quiet road to squeeze through  a stile a couple gated stiles and were back in Healaugh.

 It's up hill out of Healaugh  to the open moor where we will have excellent views of Swaledale and beyond, steepish descent at cringley Bottom and steepish up the steps at the other side of the foot bridge, mainly good tracks  paths could be damp in parts any muddy bits can be easily got round.
