We are the Castle Bromwich Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk begins with a circular route via Normanton Le Heath through the developing woodland on this National Forest site. After passing the lake we will pause for our morning break at the Visitors Barn. Footpaths then lead us in a southerly direction through farmland for a couple of miles. Then we head east to the village of Heather before reaching the Sence Valley Country Park where we will eat our picnic lunch by the lake. The final stretch of 2 miles takes us back to the start.
There are a couple of steady inclines and several stiles. Most of the paths are easy walking but there are a couple of fields that could be muddy after a period of rain.
Meet on the service road opposite Aldi on Chester Road, Castle Bromwich B36 0JG leaving at 9am
