Overview

A varied walk along rural byways, tracks and paths, through woodland and open countryside with many distant views including the Hinton Ampner Estate. With just one stile, the walk is suitable for walkers with dogs. Please bring a picnic lunch.

Romsey Rapids rear car park adjacent to the Romsey Town Football Club pitch fence. Anyone requiring a lift please contact the leader at least one day before the walk.

Drive through Hinton Ampner village and down hill along the narrow lane. Where the road bears sharply left, take the lane straight ahead. Travel for about 300 metres to where there is space for parking on both side of the road under trees.
