Overview

Start: 10 am at Holehouse Lane Car Park, SJ92707893, SK10 5SR, taskbar.enhances.seabirds.
9 mile circular walk with several stiles and about 3 steady climbs ( total ascent is 1171ft based on OS maps). Route includes a short section on canal, Bollington village, fields with lovely open views to Harrop Valley, Sponds Hill and Birchencliff then return via Middlewood way. It is likely to be muddy in places. Based on reccy we should be back by 2.45 pm.
Please bring a packed lunch and any dogs must be on a lead.
