Overview

This is a relatively easy walk with hardly any climbing. After walking up the drive to Little Sparta, the route leads out onto open moorland in a northwesterley direction. Soon after crossing the Westruther Burn, a left turn is taken heading south , past Burngrange and onto the quiet lane back to the start of the walk.

Although no hills are climbed, fine views are afforded in all directions.
